Overview
Blood samples can be submitted as:
- 5-10uL whole blood under 90uL 80% ethanol, or
- 3-5uL plasma “white blood cells” under 90uL 80% ethanol, or
- Blood absorbed onto Whatman FTA Cards – 2-3 Micro-Punch discs of 1.2mm size per sample
Don't send excessive sample material
Please note supplying excessive sample material that requires manual sub-sampling will incur additional fees. To avoid this please ensure you provide the recommended quantity
Blood samples must be sent in the appropriate plasticware (PCR plate). Read more about Plasticware for blood and tiny samples.
