What is the difference between DArTseq products and Targeted Genotyping?

DArTseq products involve a whole genome analysis, with options to cover three levels of marker density as appropriate according to the genome size and data application. This technology uses a combination of restriction enzymes to reduce genome complexity, separating low copy sequences (most important for marker discovery and typing) from the repetitive fraction of the genome. 

Targeted Genotyping is used in many applications which demand genotyping using a selected marker set, rather than the randomly distributed markers reported by our DArTseq methods.
